Libertarians Honor Constitution Day with Film at Conference House Park
STATEN ISLAND, NY, September 16, 2010 – Tomorrow evening, September 17th, the Staten Island Libertarian Party will descend upon the historic Conference House to reaffirm our founding principles and commemorate Constitution Day with a screening of ”Don’t Tread On Me: Rise of the Republic.”
The film defines Sovereignty and the proper role of government. It also takes a look at constitutional militias, the commerce clause, and much more. The presentation offers sound solutions to secure our rights as outlined in our Documents of Freedom.
The Staten Island Libertarian candidates for the November elections will also be in attendance to meet with guests and discuss liberty. The free event begins at 7 PM under the waterfront pavilion, and is open to the public. The Conference House Park is located at 298 Satterlee Street, at the south end of Hylan Boulevard.
