Staten Island Libertarians Hold 12th Annual Convention

The Libertarian Party of Staten Island held an organizational meeting on Thursday, February 11, 2021, to adopt bylaws and elect officers to serve thru 2022.

During the meeting, Libertarian mayoral candidate Stacey Prussman spoke to the nearly 20 Staten Islanders in attendance about how she would reinvigorate the city from its year-long downward economic spiral created by the Cuomo and de Blasio administrations’ suffocating lockdown mandates in response to the covid-19 pandemic.

The county committee elected Stapleton resident Chance Haywood to serve as chairman, Prince’s Bay resident Susan Overeem Cummings as Vice-Chair,  Edwin Markham Gardens resident Richard Bell as treasurer, and West Brighton Resident Charles Hargrove was elected secretary.

Sunnyside resident, and outgoing chairman, Joseph Portelle was elected to serve as an Member-at-Large to the executive committee.
